===== Chehon Medical Clinic ===== Clinic - Exterior The Chehon Medical Clinic is a private clinic, open to anyone. From the outside, it's rather nondescript. It just blends into the other buildings in the area and you could easily pass it by were it not for the large blue cross over the large doorway. Interior Clinic - Main Room Inside the Clinic there is a reasonably sized waiting room with a small windowed secretary position just as you come in the door. The seating in the waiting area is against the window, facing out into the street and has a varied assortment of furniture. Beyond that, the waiting area is pretty plain looking, outside a TV with the local news station playing. There's a rather large, and very secure door that leads into the rest of the clinic; where all the actual work is done. Clinic - Diagnostic Care The Diagnostic Care is immediately behind the secured door and takes up the bulk of the clinic. There are a dozen beds here, separated with movable partitions, to allow for some privacy. Most of the beds are of 'standard size', a few are rather large. Anyone that wouldn't fit through the door would have to be taken to the roof. Each bed has a suite of high tech systems surrounding it, with a large 55 inch display over top each bed. There's no sharing in this clinic, each bed has everything needed for diagnosis and treatment of most issues. Around the perimeter of this room are the other rooms; Surgical Suites, Cybernetic Care, a Lab, an Office and a lift to the Roof. Clinic - Surgical Suite 1 The surgical suites are just as you'd picture them; lots of gleaming white and stainless steel and are absolutely spotless. A large table stands ready to take a patient, surrounded by every piece of medical equipment, ready to support the procedure that's being performed. The rooms are sterile; kept that way with sterile fields and a robust cleaning system. Clinic - Cybernetic Care Cybernetic Care room is for those that require work on their cybernetics, or wish to have some installed. This room is half surgical suite and half research and development. That half of the room has a number of items being worked on; from entirely cybernetic organs, to limbs, eyeballs, even neurological implants. This room is sterile; and everything in here is kept that way with sterile fields and a robust cleaning system. Clinic - Multipurpose Room This room is used for a variety of non-invasive procedures, usually considered 'paramedical' in nature. Massages, Physiotherapy, Yoga, Stretching... and the room has a very quite, secluded vibe to it to match it's nature. One side of the room is set up for physiotherapy, with free weights, stretch bands, a treadmill and various other items to assist those needing a little excersize to return function to their bodies, but the rest of the room screams 'massage parlour' and 'quiet chat'. The lighting on this side of the room is subdued, a massage table sitting in the center. Closer to the wall, a few comfy couches have been placed; a nice quiet room to have a chat about topics that need to remain quiet. Clinic - Lab The lab houses all the equipment for working with everything from DNA sequencing to simply processing chemicals down into something more pure. The room is stocked with everything one would need to start searching for a cure to a new disease... complete with two sealed off rooms that allow working with diseases and other dangerous microbes. Those rooms are well sealed off, and generally do not deal with horrifying diseases; that's what orbital, off-world and deep space installations are for. Clinic - Office This is the office where the on-call doctors, nurses and secretary all come to do their paper work. There are multiple desks, some of which can be seen from the front room, via the window at the secretary's desk. Clinic - Rooftop The rooftop here is wide and open, with a large, heated tent that works to keep any of the large creatures warm and dry while they're being worked on. Up here the diagnostic equipment is more portable, which is required when you need to walk *around* your patient to get to the sore places.
